The Masjid App is the only solution for true data protection through emphasis of divestment and prioritizing technological unity & independence of the Ummah.

01Introduction, clarifications, and questions

This privacy notice for Deeds (“we,” “us,” or “our”) describes that we do not collect, store, use, or share (“process”) information that passes through our “Services”. These Services are:

02What information do we collect?

The Masjid App does not collect any information on Masjid Goers or Masjid Admins.

The Masjid App has features where Masjid Goers send information to masjids. This data is only visible to the Masjid Admins of that masjid. Payment-related data sits on that masjid’s Stripe Connect account. The Masjid App team cannot view any information unless the Masjid Admins temporarily add The Masjid App team to their account if extra support is needed.

Masjid Admins submit their masjid’s banking information directly to Stripe. The Masjid App cannot view this information. Learn about Stripe’s privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

03Are the features GDPR compliant?

Yes, we do not collect any data from Masjid Admins or Masjid Goers.

Data Masjid Goers provide to a masjid is subject to that masjid’s privacy policy. The Masjid App provides masjids with the tools to be GDPR compliant. Learn about a masjid’s privacy policy at its facilities.

04When and with whom do we share information?

The Masjid App does not collect any data, so there is nothing to share.

When Masjid Goers provide information to masjids through The Masjid App, that information is only viewable by the Masjid Admins of that masjid. Masjid Admins may share that information with The Masjid App team by temporarily adding the team to their masjid if extra support is needed.

When Masjid Admins provide data to Stripe, that information goes directly to Stripe. Learn about Stripe’s privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

05Do we use cookies and other tracking technologies?

We do not use tracking technologies.

Accounts created by Masjid Admins use non-tracking cookies to keep them logged in.

06How long do we keep your information?

The Masjid App has no information to keep on Masjid Goers or Masjid Admins.

Information Masjid Admins submit to Stripe is deleted if the masjid listing is unclaimed.

Information Masjid Goers submit to masjids through The Masjid App is visible to, and kept by, that masjid’s Admins according to their privacy policy. Learn more about their policy at their facilities.

07Controls for Do-Not-Track features

We treat all requests like Do-Not-Track (“DNT”). We do not track any of them.
